California's largest outdoor wine festival.

The Paso Robles Wine Festival is the largest outdoor wine tasting in California, hosting thousands of visitors each year in the picturesque downtown Paso Robles City Park, and 2007 marks the 25th anniversary of this popular event!

Live music will be on hand throughout the afternoon, performing in the gazebo in the designated tasting area. Wine country cuisine created especially for the Wine Festival will be available from 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. from ten of the city's restaurants.

More than 90 local wineries will participate, offering unlimited wine tasting from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on May 19, 2007. It is estimated that over 150 distinct and different local wines will be poured.

Paso Robles has become the third largest winegrowing region in California, with more than 170 wineries presently offering a full spectrum of wine. Traditional French varietals, Italian, Rhône, as well as the region's specialty - Zinfandel. Forty different varietals in all.

On average, 6,500 people attend the annual festival, some coming from as far as the East Coast.

Tickets are available at a cost of $50 and entitle visitors to unlimited tastings from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Free parking and shuttles are available.

Information and ticket purchase may be found at Paso Robles Wine Festival.
