Rancho Zabaco Winery in California's Sonoma County built its reputation largely on its famous Dancing Bull Zinfandel, considered by many to be one of the best values in quality Zinfandel (widely available for around $10). So successful was this brand that the winery has decided to expand into the premium Zinfandel market and offer a range of regional and vineyard-designated wines, some of which are reviewed in our current article.
Rancho Zabaco winemaker Eric Cinnamon has released excellent Zinfandels from the famous Monte Rosso Vineyard in Sonoma, as well as from Dry Creek, Russian River, and Lodi - all outstanding Zinfandel regions.
As Rancho Zabaco narrows its focus primarily on Zinfandel, the Dancing Bull brand will expand to include Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Sauvignon Blanc. We hope that these new offerings will continue Dancing Bull's tradition of offering outstanding value in these new categories.
